Spring 2009 Musical
|
|
Immanuel
Lutheran School students in pre-kindergarten through
8th grade performed their spring musical "Fish
Tales" by Kathy HIll & Melody Mosley Morris on
Thursday, May 14. Neighborhood children gathered to
enter Mr. Gill's annual fishing contest, while
hearing about all the "fish tales" that Jesus shares
with us in His Word.

Andrew Salvhus sings a solo with Grace Baumann
performing a dance during the song "Fish
Sandwiches".
Kaylee Abraham (front) with the Immanuel
choir sings
"Fish Tales".
Pre-kindergarten students, Grace Baumann,
Mackenzie
Mitchell and Erika Rand dance as
the bread and fish
during the song "Fish Sandwiches".
Paul Langton, Jonas Wilson, Cara Schmidtke
and Amit
Weidenborner perform a ribbon dance.
Fishing from the dock are Caitlin Priebe, Isaiah
Haas and Mark Salvhus during the song "Love is the
Bait".
Theo (Paul Langton) helps Taylor (Josh Karnitz)
catch the biggest fish, the Pie-face Pickerel.
However, the contest was won by Theo who
realized
that fishing for men was most important,
as we cast
our nets and share the love of our
Lord and Savior,
Jesus, with all we meet.
