The goal of our preschool program is to
provide each child with many age appropriate
learning experiences in a loving
Christian environment. At Immanuel we
emphasize the "whole child" which stresses:
spiritual, cognitive, language, social,
emotional, creative, large motor and fine
motor skills and development. Themes are
used to introduce and develop concepts
through large group experiences, small group
experiences, play, exploration, and the use
of centers.

In the preschool class many books are read to
encourage a love for reading, develop literacy
skills, and learn basic knowledge. During each
month of the school year, we have special days
including Show & Tell, Library Day, and we
"visit" different countries from around
the world. We also celebrate birthdays. Your
child may bring a treat to share on his or her
birthday. If your child's birthday is in
the summer, we will designate a special day at
the end of the year to celebrate them all.
