September 2009

Our first graduating class is now entering their first year of college. 

Angela Kobi is attending Dunwoody in Minneapolis, majoring in Graphic Design. 

Mark Langton is attending Concordia University St. Paul with a double major in K-12 Education and Music.   Please keep them in your prayers.

 

 

January 2008

Evan Wilson, an 8th grader at W-H-A has been selected to sing with the Middle School State Honors Choir in Duluth on January 29th.  The students selected from schools around the state will be combining their voices into a large choir and will be singing some challenging pieces including a Japanese song.   Congratulations, Evan!

 

 

February, 2007
Elise Johnson, a seventh grader at Nevis High School, was named  Student of the Semester for her grade.  Teachers' commented, "Elise has excellent academics is a very nice girl and creative student.  She has a great work ethic, always wants to do her best and is an exceptional worker."
 

 

March, 2007

Mark & Angela Langton participated in WHA’s One Act Play that took 2nd place in SubSections held at Wadena.

 

Mark Langton placed 2nd in poetry during a speech meet at Bemidji.

 

Many alumni made the honor roll including:  Angie Kobi, Baliegh Olson, Auri Boie, Brooke Kellogg, Ana Bilben, Evan Wilson, Angela Langton, Christopher Dennis and Elise Johnson.
